The artifacts, the organizations, and the people of computing are all part of a web of context and interaction, never acting in isolation but rather, each influencing the other in complex ways.
Many of these connections will be found close in time and in space, while others many be more distant, reaching across epochs and eras in ways the reflect fundamental needs and truths that fuel the actions of computing.
